You have the right to request permanent deletion of your DonghuaID account at any time. Once deletion is confirmed, your account and associated personal data will be permanently removed from our systems. This action cannot be undone.
What You Should Know
Account deletion is permanent and irreversible. Once your account is deleted, you will not be able to recover any of your data or access your account. Please ensure you have saved any important information before proceeding with deletion.
If you are experiencing issues with the app or have concerns, we encourage you to contact us first. Our support team may be able to help resolve your concerns without requiring account deletion.
How to Delete Your Account
Follow these steps to request permanent deletion of your DonghuaID account:
Send Deletion Request
Email us at aftercodeid@gmail.com with the subject line "Account Deletion Request" and include your registered email address or username.
Verification
We will verify your identity to ensure the account deletion request is legitimate and comes from the account owner.
Data Deletion
Your personal data and account information will be securely deleted from our systems within 7 days of verification.
Confirmation
You will receive an email confirmation once your account deletion has been completed.
What Data Gets Deleted
When you request account deletion, the following personal data will be permanently removed:
- Your account profile and personal information
- Your watchlist and saved content
- Your community posts, comments, and ratings
- Your preference and notification settings
- Your browsing history and activity logs
Data We May Retain
In accordance with applicable laws and regulations, certain data may be retained for a limited period after account deletion:
- Forum posts and comments that are part of community discussions (these may be anonymized)
- Content identifiers needed for moderation and abuse prevention (limited retention period)
- Transaction records required for legal and accounting purposes (7 years retention as per law)
- Data used for fraud detection and security investigations (6 months retention)
After the applicable retention period expires, this data will be permanently deleted from our systems.
